Features:
- A wider sole and shallower face help to push the centre of gravity lower and further back in the head. This helps to give a higher ball flight that travels longer and with more accuracy.
- An Elastomeric Dampening layer positioned in the cavity of the clubhead helps to reduce vibration for a softer feel.
- The cavity back clubhead design gives great forgiveness even on shots struck on the toe or heel, without losing a traditional look.
- The True Temper TX 105 uniflex steel shafts feature the famous 'Fatshaft' technology. This reduces clubhead twisting to give superb accuracy on off centre strikes.
- Full Set 4-SW.

If you can get over the slightly clunky looks of these irons, you will find they are really great to play. The distance is very impressive and they are very consistent/easy to use. The fat shafts do resist twisting a lot on off centre hits. Its amazing what you can get away with in this respect. I have hit many a ball right from the toe of the club and the direction has been very close to where I was aiming with only perhaps 10 yards loss in distance. More forgiving than anything else I have tried.
These irons are de-lofted by a coupled of degrees as Alan says but that seems quite common these days so I dont think this is too much of a cheat on Wilsons part. However, this does leave a BIG space between the sand wedge and pitching wedge so I would recommend getting the gap wedge as well.

What a superb... quality set of clubs, was asked to try these at my local driving range by the attendant. Bought some a week later from DG, no regrets, hitting longer, straighter and more consistant than ever! Now gone Wilson mad and bought the Wilson 8865 putter, well pleased and last week had my best score in years. Can't wait for this Sunday. If you need new clubs, give them a try, they appear to be working for me!!
