The unique 'Scooped Out' geometric design of the HiBore XL moves weight lower and deeper in the club head. This aligns the centre of gravity directly with the sweet spot in the centre of the face, resulting in optimal conditions for greater overall distance.
The larger 460cc head (compared to 340cc for the original HiBore) has allowed the Cleveland designers to move more weight towards the rear of the head. This gives a higher Moment Of Inertia (MOI) to reduce club head twisting on off centre strikes.
The low, deep centre of gravity produces a higher initial launch angle, with less backspin for the perfect ball flight and maximum distance.
A face made from the highest grade SP700 Beta Titanium has been enlarged by 11% to give the biggest sweet spot in Golf!
**This driver has a COR of 0.83 or less so it will be perfectly legal to use through 2008!**
Fitted with a choice of either the Fujikura Gold or Fujikura Red graphite shaft. Each shaft has been specifically made for the HiBore XL driver. The 'Red' shaft has been designed for the accomplished player looking for a more penetrating trajectory, whilst the 'Gold' shaft provides a high ball flight for maximum carry.
