These terms and conditions apply to customers located in the European Union outside the UK ("EU Customers") who access the directgolf website ("Website"). Please read these terms and conditions carefully before accessing and/or ordering any goods from the Website.
These are the terms and conditions of SDI (Brook EU) Limited ("Sports Direct EU"), which is the company that sells goods to EU Customers on the Website. If you access the Website, and/or place an order for goods, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.

How to order
1. Select the goods you require from the Website and click 'Buy Now';
2. Choose the quantity of goods you wish to purchase from Sports Direct EU (the default will be one (1) unit). Please note that a limit is set to ninety nine (99) units per item. To order quantities greater than 99 units per item, please contact customer services who will be able to assist you with your order;
3. Review your bag making sure all specifications such as size (see our sizing chart) and colour fit your requirements, then click "Secure Checkout";
4. If you are a new user you will need to enter an email address and create a user name and password. You must keep your username and password confidential as they allow access to your account. To continue setting up an account you will need to enter your personal details, billing address (which must correspond with your payment card address) and delivery address;
5. Once you have set up an account, you will be directed to the delivery options page where you may select the type of delivery, and vary delivery and/or billing addresses. Sports Direct EU does not deliver goods, but Barlin Delivery Limited ("Barlin Delivery") can provide you with an overseas delivery service which you can arrange at the delivery options page on the Website: see Overseas Delivery. You will be required to tick a box to confirm your acceptance of Barlin Delivery's terms and conditions.
6. You will then proceed to the secure payment page where you may select the payment type and complete your order. Your payment will be collected from you by SportsDirect.com Retail Ltd on our behalf (see below). Following submission of your order you will be sent an automated order acknowledgement to the email address provided.
By placing an order through the Website, you warrant that you are legally capable of entering into binding contracts.
How the contract for the goods is formed between you and Sports Direct EU
After placing your order you will receive an automated acknowledgement. Please note that this does not mean that your order has been accepted. All orders are subject to acceptance by Sports Direct EU. You will receive an email confirming that Sports Direct EU has accepted your order when your order has been processed and is ready for collection from the SportsDirect.com Retail Ltd warehouse by you, by Barlin Delivery on your behalf, or by any other courier you appoint to collect the goods on your behalf.
Once Sports Direct EU accepts your order, a contract to purchase the goods from Sports Direct EU takes effect between you and Sports Direct EU. This means that you will own the goods prior to your goods being collected from the SportsDirect.com Retail Ltd warehouse. This applies whether the goods are collected (i) on your behalf by Barlin Delivery or any other courier that you contract with to delivery your goods to you; or (ii) by you in person. For the avoidance of doubt, where you have appointed Barlin Delivery to collect and deliver your goods for you, you agree that Barlin Delivery take possession of the goods on your behalf when they collect the goods at the SportsDirect.com Retail Ltd warehouse.
If you have selected the overseas delivery option with Barlin Delivery, you will receive a separate email confirmation from Barlin Delivery confirming that a contract to deliver the goods has taken effect between you and Barlin Delivery (please refer to Overseas Delivery below).
The contract to sell goods to you only relates to those goods listed in the confirmation email.
You will not be charged before your order has been processed and is ready for collection by you or Barlin Delivery at the SportsDirect.com Retail Ltd Ltd warehouse. However, upon receipt of your order, Sports Direct EU will create an authorisation. This will show on your bank statement as a reservation of funds which allocates the money to your order but this will not be realised until your order has been picked and processed in SportsDirect.com Retail Ltd.'s warehouse. In the event of us not being able to fulfil your order we will immediately request that your bank cancels the authorisation. If the authorisation still remains after several days, please contact your bank to request that they act upon our cancellation of the payment.

Prices for goods on the Website appear on the product pages and include all applicable taxes.
Prices and offers may vary and may only be available for limited periods. All prices and offers are subject to availability and may be withdrawn or amended at the discretion of Sports Direct EU. The prices on the Website may differ to prices in retail stores, catalogues or elsewhere.
The Website contains a large number of goods and it is possible that, despite best efforts, some of the goods listed on the Website may be incorrectly priced. If Sports Direct EU discovers an error in the price of the goods you have ordered, Sports Direct EU will inform you as soon as possible. Sports Direct EU will give you the option of reconfirming your order at the correct price or cancelling it.
Sports Direct EU is under no obligation to sell incorrectly priced goods to you at the incorrect price.
Goods being delivered to EU Customers by Barlin Delivery or collected by you at the SportsDirect.com Retail Ltd warehouse will be at your risk when such goods are collected by you or by Barlin Delivery (or Barlin Delivery's agent) for you from the SportsDirect.com Retail Ltd warehouse.
Some offers carry a maximum quantity per customer. If this is applicable, this is detailed on the individual offer.
Any goods showing ex display on the image are heavily marked down in price to clear. They may have been a display model in a Sports Direct store and as such may show signs of discolouration, slight marks and evidence of prior fitting. Faults are NOT of a serious or structural nature and are usually minor marks.
Data protection and privacy
The Sports Direct Group takes appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect against unauthorised or unlawful processing of your personal information, including encrypting your information to applicable industry standards.
During your visit to the Website, the Sports Direct Group may gather certain personal information that is necessary to set up your account, for the purposes of billing, delivery of your goods and queries. The Sports Direct Group only keeps your information for as long as is necessary to process your order, process any applicable refunds, respond to any complaints/feedback or to provide you with promotional information you have subscribed to.
Ordinarily the Sports Direct Group does not have access to your financial information which is securely transferred directly to their card processing agents who process it on the Sports Direct Group's instructions.
If you have contracted for delivery with Barlin Delivery, the Sports Direct Group will supply your information electronically to Barlin Delivery who needs your details in order to deliver your goods to you. Barlin Delivery may also provide your details to any couriers that it uses to deliver your orders for you. Please click here to refer to Barlin Delivery's terms and conditions.
The Sports Direct Group's card processing agents, Barlin Delivery and their couriers are required to maintain the security and confidentially of your personal details, and are required not to retain, share, store or divulge any personal information for any other purposes.
When you register your details on the Website, you have the option to subscribe to future promotions and special offers. You may unsubscribe from this at any time by emailing customer services.
The Sports Direct Group will not transfer your information outside the European Economic Area ("EEA") unless you are a user located outside the EEA in which case it may need to transfer your information to process payment/refunds, or to send you promotional information you have subscribed to.
The Website can recognise past users by using cookies. Cookies personalise your visits to the Website to meet your individual preferences. You can disable cookies by adjusting your internet settings.
When you supply your information to the Sports Direct Group you accept the risks associated with the Internet and consent to the Sports Direct Group processing your information in accordance with this policy and will not hold any member of the Sports Direct Group responsible for any loss of your information unless it has breached its duty of care to you.
Method of Payment
You may pay by Mastercard, VISA, VISA Debit, VISA Electron, Maestro, PayPal and Gift Cards.. Please ensure if you are using a credit card that you provide the card holder's name as it is shown on the card, and the billing address corresponds as it appears on the card statement. Payment will be taken in GB pounds (£), and if applicable, your card will be charged according to the exchange rate at that time.
Sports Direct EU's charges are collected by SportsDirect.com Retail Ltd on behalf of Sport's Direct EU during the checkout procedure and SportsDirect.com Retail Ltd undertakes to pass your payment on to Sports Direct EU on your behalf.
Gift Cards cannot be used to buy goods from Sports Direct EU.
To help Sports Direct EU prevent fraud, orders of £200 GB pounds or more may require a landline telephone number. Card fraud is illegal and perpetrators will be prosecuted.
Delivery costs are additional to the displayed price and vary depending on the delivery service you select, the country of delivery and the quantity/weight of goods ordered. Sports Direct EU does not deliver goods. Barlin Delivery can provide overseas delivery for you. EU Customers can choose to accept Barlin Delivery's delivery service at the Deliver options page of the Website. Barlin Delivery's delivery charges will be confirmed to you before your order is accepted. Overseas delivery services provided to you by Barlin Delivery are subject to its terms and conditions.
If your order is particularly heavy it may be subject to extra delivery charges. If any order is subject to extra delivery charges you will be advised of the additional cost before your order is collected from the SportsDirect.com Retail Ltd warehouse by Barlin Delivery. You have the option to cancel the order if you do not wish to pay any additional delivery costs.
Please note that Barlin Delivery are currently unable to deliver to PO Boxes.
If you live overseas and do not want to incur the expense of overseas delivery you can also elect to collect your goods from SportsDirect.com Retail Ltd.'s UK warehouse.
Delivery of Pre-Order Items
If you pre-order goods with a launch date, then we will reserve your goods and hold the whole order until the day before the launch date.
Table Tennis Tables
Presently Barlin Delivery does not deliver this item to addresses outside the UK.
Sports Direct EU may pack your order into more than one parcel based on stock availability. You will not be charged extra for this facility.
Delivery of Personalised Goods
Personalised goods are non-returnable (please note that this does not affect your statutory rights). If your order is a mix of personalised and non personalised goods then the personalised goods may be processed and packaged separately at no additional cost to you, please see "Split packaging".
We will embroider both boots in the most appropriate position so as to not affect the boots' structure or performance in accordance with manufacturer's guidelines. This may vary from the images on the website depending on the size and style of boot. Please ensure that any spelling or numbers chosen are correct and that the size of boot is correct as any mistakes cannot be rectified once your order is placed. As with any personalised products once a boot has been embroidered it is non -returnable and will take an additional 24 hours processing time after you have received your order acceptance confirmation email.
Returns and exchanges
1) Cancelling your online order within the cooling off period
You have14 days to change your mind from the day after you receive your order.
a) Can I cancel any item that I order?
You can cancel any item ordered online in accordance with the terms in this section apart from:
• personalised or bespoke items;
• any items which deteriorate or expire rapidly;
• any items that are sealed for health protection or hygiene reasons if you have unsealed them; and
• any items that have been inseparably mixed after delivery.
b) When do I have to cancel my order by?
Your cancellation period ends 14 days after the day on which the items are received by you (or someone you nominate to receive the items for you) or are collected by you. If your order consists of multiple items or parts which are received by you or collected on different days, then the cancellation period (in respect of your whole order) ends on the day 14 days after the day on which the last of the items or parts are received by you (or a person you have nominated to receive the order) or are collected by you.
c) How do I notify you that I want to cancel my order?

You need to give Sports Direct EU a clear statement that you would like to cancel which includes your name, address, details of the order you wish to cancel and some contact information such as a telephone number or email address.
You can use the Returns Form but you do not have to. To use the form, simply print it off, fill it in, either scan and email it to Sports Direct EU at the above email address or post it to Sports Direct EU at the address above.
d) How do I send my items back?
You must return your items by post to

no later than 14 days after the day on which you informed Sports Direct EU that you would like to cancel your order. Any returns are at your own risk. For your protection, Sports Direct EU recommends that you return your items via registered post.
You must pay for any return delivery costs, except where the wrong item has been sent to you or the item is defective. Where an item cannot, by its nature, be returned by post (for example an exercise bike) we charge an administration fee in order to arrange collection.
The items do not need to be in their original packaging however they must be in a sellable condition.
e) How much money will be refunded to me?
SportsDirect.com Retail Ltd. will refund you in full on Sports Direct EU's behalf for any items you return, but will deduct from any reimbursement an amount equal to any diminishment in value of the items as a result of you handling the items beyond what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the items.
If you have contracted for delivery of your items with Barlin Delivery and are returning all items in your order, SportsDirect.com Retail Ltd. will also reimburse the Barlin Delivery fee, but only up to the cost of the standard delivery charge. No refund can be made of any Next Day, Express, Saturday or other premium component of any delivery charge. If you are not returning all the items in your order, the initial delivery cost will not be returned to you.
Any refunds to which you are entitled will be paid using the same payment method originally used by you to make the payment (unless you have expressly agreed otherwise). You will be refunded no later than 14 days after the day Sports Direct EU receives the items you are returning back from you.
2) Items that are incorrect or require exchange
Please clearly state on the Returns Form the reason for return and whether you require a refund or exchange. Sports Direct EU is only able to exchange items for the same product.

Personalised items are non-returnable (unless they are defective). Some items are non-returnable for hygiene reasons. Please note that this does not affect your statutory rights.
The items do not need to be in their original packaging however they must be in a sellable condition, and sent to Sports Direct EU at your own cost and risk.
You have a legal obligation to take reasonable care of the items while they are in your possession. If you fail to comply with this obligation, Sports Direct EU may have a right of action against you for compensation. This applies to all items that are returned.
Once a refund has been issued you will receive a confirmation email detailing the amount which has been refunded and the item(s) Sports Direct EU has received back. If a refund or reimbursement is payable to you, SportsDirect.com Retail Ltd. will transfer the money on Sports Direct EU's behalf using the same method originally used by you to pay for your purchase.
Sports Direct EU aims to process all returns as quickly as possible and you should receive confirmation of this within a week of having returned the item. Please note that if you have been provided with Sports Direct EU's freepost address then due to the extra time it takes for freepost items to be delivered it may take up to 14 days to receive confirmation of your refund. Please note that at busy times of the year such as public holidays, these times may increase.
3) Defective items
If you return items claiming they are defective, Sports Direct EU will examine the returned items and will notify you of your refund via e-mail within a reasonable period of time. SportsDirect.com Retail Ltd. will process the refund due to you on Sports Direct EU's behalf as soon as possible and, in any case within thirty (30) days of the day Sports Direct EU confirms via e-mail that you are entitled to a refund for defective items.
Please return the items back to Sports Direct EU including details where possible of:
• Your Order Number
• Product Code/Product Name
• Details of the fault
• Whether you would prefer a refund or replacement

Warranty and limitation of our liability
If Sports Direct EU fails to comply with these terms and conditions, Sports Direct EU shall only be liable to you for the purchase price of the goods and any proven losses that you suffer as a result of Sports Direct EU's failure to comply (whether arising in contract, tort (including negligence), breach of statutory duty or otherwise) which are a foreseeable consequence of such failure.
Sports Direct EU will not be liable for losses that result from its failure to comply with these terms and conditions that fall into the following categories:
(a) loss of income or revenue;
(b) loss of business;
(c) loss of profits;
(d) loss of anticipated savings;
(e) loss of data; or
(f) waste of management or office time.
Nothing in these terms and conditions is intended to exclude or limit Sports Direct EU's liability for:
(a) death or personal injury caused by Sports Direct EU's negligence;
(b) fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation;
(c) any breach of the obligations implied by section 12 of the Sale of Goods Act 1979;
(d) defective products under the Consumer Protection Act 1987;
(e) any other matter for which it would be illegal for Sports Direct EU to exclude or attempt to exclude its liability.
Whilst the Sports Direct Group adopts industry standard protections against computer viruses, it is not able to warrant that this website is free from computer viruses or any other malicious or impairing computer program.
Nothing in these terms and conditions is intended to affect your statutory rights.
Events outside our control
Sports Direct EU will not be liable or responsible for any failure to perform, or delay in performance of any of its obligations to you that is caused by events outside Sports Direct EU's reasonable control (a 'Force Majeure Event'). A Force Majeure Event includes any act, event, non-happening, omission or accident beyond Sports Direct EU's reasonable control and includes (without limitation) the following:
(a) Strikes, lock-outs or other industrial action;
(b) Civil commotion, riot, invasion, terrorist attack or threat of terrorist attack, war (whether declared or not) or threat or preparation for war;
(c) Fire, explosion, storm, flood, earthquake, subsidence, epidemic or other natural disaster;
(d) Impossibility of the use of railways, shipping, aircraft, motor transport or other means of public or private transport;
(e) Impossibility of the use of public or private telecommunications networks; or
(f) The acts, decrees, legislation, regulations or restrictions of any government.
In the event of a Force Majeure Event, Sports Direct EU's performance is deemed to be suspended for the period that the Force Majeure Event continues, and Sports Direct EU will have an extension of time for performance for the duration of that period. Sports Direct EU will use its reasonable endeavours to bring the Force Majeure Event to a close or to find a solution by which its obligations to you may be performed despite the Force Majeure Event.
Applicable laws require that some of the information or communications Sports Direct EU sends to you should be in writing. By accessing the Website, you accept that communication with Sports Direct EU will be primarily electronic through e-mail or notices posted on the Website. For contractual purposes, by accessing the Website you agree to this electronic means of communication and you acknowledge that all contracts, notices, information and other communications that Sports Direct EU provides to you electronically comply with any legal requirement that such communications be in writing. This condition does not affect your statutory rights.
Intellectual property rights
Unless otherwise specified the intellectual property rights in the contents of all the pages in this website, are owned or licensed to SportsDirect.com Retail Ltd, or are used with permission from the owner.
The contents of this website may not be copied, reproduced, modified, downloaded or used in any form without our prior written permission.
Sports Direct EU takes all feedback very seriously and aims to deal with complaints as quickly and effectively as possible.
For complaints relating to orders placed through the Website please email customer services. To assist Sports Direct EU in dealing with your complaint, please detail all aspects of the complaint, your order number and your contact details.
Our right to vary these terms and conditions
Sports Direct EU reserves the right to revise and amend these terms and conditions from time to time. You will be subject to the terms and conditions that are in force at the time that you order goods from Sports Direct EU unless:-
• any change to these terms and conditions is required to be made by law or governmental authority, in which case the changes may apply to orders previously placed by you; or
• Sports Direct EU notifies you of any changes to these terms and conditions before it accepts your order, in which case Sports Direct EU has the right to assume that you have accepted the change to the terms and conditions unless you notify Sports Direct EU to the contrary within seven (7) working days of receipt by you of the goods.
Physical activities can be hazardous. The selection and use of suitable equipment requires skill, and you should ensure you are appropriately equipped and trained. In the interests of your safety and the safety of others, you should also ensure that you are properly trained in the techniques you will need to employ in pursuit of your chosen activity. Sports Direct EU recommends that you seek and take the advice of a suitably qualified person before purchasing your equipment. Once purchased, the equipment should only be used in accordance with the manufacturers' instructions and should likewise be inspected before use and properly maintained. Nothing in this notice affects your statutory rights.
The Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE) Directive aims to make producers pay for the collection, treatment and recovery of waste electrical equipment. The Directive also means that suppliers of equipment like high street shops and internet retailers must allow consumers to return their waste equipment free of charge.
Goods are marked with the crossed out wheeled bin symbol to show that they were produced after 13 August 2005, and should be disposed of separately from normal household waste so that they can be recycled.
Distributors of new Electric and Electronic Equipment (EEE) have a part to play in reducing the amount of WEEE going into landfill sites.
Sports Direct EU is obliged under this Directive to offer its customers free take-back of their WEEE on a like-for-like basis when you buy from Sports Direct EU a new Electrical or Electronic product.
For example, if a customer bought a new battery/stopwatch/pedometer from Sports Direct EU, Sports Direct EU would accept their old battery/stopwatch/pedometer and prevent it going into a landfill site by disposing of it safely. Customers must return their WEEE item to Sports Direct EU within 28 days of purchasing their new item.
These terms and conditions shall be subject to the laws of England and the courts of England and Wales shall have non-exclusive jurisdiction over all claims or disputes arising in relation to, out of or in connection with these terms and conditions including orders for goods.
